I’m Oxana Lebedeva

My artistic practice focuses on the exploration of human psycho-emotional states. I work with the figure as a form through which inner experiences, bodily memory, and subtle processes of self-perception become visible.
Landscape and environment in my works function as spaces where experience is fixed and observed.

Watercolor is my primary medium. In selected projects, I also work with oil and experiment with embroidery, introducing a tactile and material dimension to the pictorial surface.

I currently live and work between Argentina and Russia.
